Restaurant critic for The Independent magazine and broadcaster….. Tracey MacLeod has been writing about restaurants for the Independent magazine since 1997.
She has been nominated for a Glenfiddich Food and Drink award as best restaurant critic three times, winning the award in 2003.
Her background is in television; she worked on the BBC's Food and Drink as a researcher, going on to work as a producer and presenter on such ground-breaking shows as Network 7 and BBC-2's The Late Show.
She continues to work as a broadcaster, and now runs a talent agency representing a wide range of TV presenters.
