Winning the Roux Scholarship has helped me grow as a chef. I have learnt so much about gastronomy as a result of my time at George Blanc and the educational trips with the Roux Family and scholars. We have explored the globe together and experienced the best there is to offer, especially on our visit to Japan.
It is a privilege to have developed a great friendship with such a wonderful and talented group and I am deeply honoured to be a part of it.
As a result, I have been very fortunate to meet and network with many of the leading lights in the hospitality industry.
I am very grateful to the Roux family, Michel Sr has given so much of his time and energy to me and all the scholars over the last four decades to bring us all on in life and in our careers, he is an amazing man.
