2017 Roux Scholarship Finalists

Scott Dineen, BaxterStorey, London

Scott competed in the Birmingham semi-final at University College Birmingham.

This is his fourth consecutive final.

Speaking afterwards he said, “It feels amazing! It’s such an honour to be in the final again. It’s a dream come true. I’m going to strip back to basics this year to prepare for the final and practice sauces, pastry, all the basics. This year I want it more than ever. This year I want to be remembered not for entering 4 times but for winning!”

Judging in Birmingham were Michel Roux Jr, Brian Turner, Sat Bains, André Garrett.

No one went home empty handed; each competitor received a commemorative certificate signed by all the judges and a selection of great prizes from our sponsors.

To find out if Scott wins tune in at  7pm on 10th April to watch The Roux Scholarship Award ceremony LIVE via www.rouxscholarship.co.uk, YouTube and twitter.
