Jonathan Harrison

Jonathon Harrison is chef patron of his own business - The Sandpiper Inn, in Leyburn, a country town in Wensleydale.  Here he promotes his ethos of using the finest local ingredients.  During his time at The Sandpiper Inn he has achieved many accolades, including Yorkshire Life Dining Pub of the Year.

“Winning the Roux Scholarship certainly contributed to my appointment as Chef de Cuisine at Birmingham’s only 5 star hotel.  A kitchen of  32 staff enabled me to create the menu for the heads of state  G8 summit banquet at the City's Botanical Gardens.  T.V and radio commitments followed including demonstrating at food shows; consultancy work; and involvement in The Academy of Culinary Arts’  ‘Adopt a School’ programme.
