Scholarship Prizes 2011 (2012 details to be confirmed)

The winner receives a cheque for £5,000 & an invitation to cook and train under the supervision of a leading chef at a prestigious 3-star Michelin restaurant anywhere in the world for up to three months. This is courtesy of the Savoy Educational Trust.

In addition the Roux Scholar will receive:

• A week's work experience in New York (with flights and accommodation provided) courtesy of Restaurant Associates.
• An exclusive Jeroboam of Gosset Grande Réserve NV, signed by all the judges and
• An expenses paid trip for two to visit the wine cellars of Gosset at Epernay, including a guided tour of the production process, a tasting of the Gosset range, travel by Eurostar and overnight accommodation with bed and breakfast, courtesy of Champagne Gosset worth £650.
• A trip for two to visit the Caffé Musetti roasting factory with flights, transfers and a night's accommodation in Milan, courtesy of L'Unico
• A free subscription to Caterer and Hotelkeeper for one year
• A set of Global Knives to the value of £1,000
• A five-piece d5 stainless steel engraved set of pans, worth £1,200 from All-Clad
• Registration free of charge with the Hospitality Learning Network and access to a free management study unit under the Ecarus Scheme, courtesy of Hospitality and Leisure Management. 

The Winner's Establishment

Will receive a coffee machine and coffee worth £2,000 from L'Unico (Caffé Musetti)

National Finalists

The remaining five national finalists will receive £1,000 bursary from the Savoy Educational Trust, to be used towards furthering their career development.

All national finalists will receive:

• An engraved d5 stainless steel saucier from All-Clad, worth £170.
• Two personalised, commemorative, chef's jackets, courtesy of Bragard
• Bottle of Champagne Gosset Grande Réserve NV.
• A one-day course at the Fairfax Meadow Butchery School
• One year's complimentary membership of The Institute of Hospitality
• Registration, free of charge, with the Hospitality Learning Network, courtesy of Hospitality & Leisure Manpower. They will also be given access to a free management study unit under the Ecarus Scheme.
• 7 piece set of Global Knives worth £250

Regional Finalists

All regional finalists will receive:

• A voucher from Russums to the value of £100 to be used for equipment or books, courtesy of the Savoy Educational Trust
• A Global GS Series knife worth £50
• A Moka pot and coffee from L'Unico (Caffé Musetti)
• A commemorative certificate, signed by the judges
