Scholars recognised by the Michelin Guide 2024
It was an exciting night at the Michelin Guide revelation in Manchester on 5th February, where a number of Roux Scholars were recognised by the 2024 selection and Michel Roux was honored with the Mentorship Award before going on to announce the new one-star Michelin restaurants. Just ten months after taking the helm at Farlam Hall, Hrishikesh Desai received one star award for Cedar Tree restaurant. While Dan Cox and his team at Crocadon Farm in Cornwall added a one star award to his green star received in 2023. Meanwhile, The Ledbury – where April Lily Partridge is sous chef – was the latest restaurant to join the very exclusive list of three-star Michelin establishments in Britain; and although Jonathan Ferguson has recently left, he was understandably delighted for Glenturret Lalique receiving a second star.
All other restaurants of Roux Scholars retained their stars, including Luke Selby, Mark Birchall, Sat Bains, Simon Hulstone, Kenneth Culhane, Adam Smith, Steve Drake.
