New dates set for 2020/2021 competition

The Roux Family have set new dates for the competition in autumn 2021. The regional finals will take place on 9th September and the national final on the 25th October.

2020 Competition postponed due to pandemic

After the 2020 Roux Scholarship was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Roux Family have decided to postpone the competition until March 2021. The 2020 finalists' places have been carried over.

Being a finalist is valuable too!

Acclaimed chefs Nathan Outlaw and Bryn Williams both competed in the Roux Scholarship finals in the early and mid-2000s and – despite not winning – found that being part of The Roux Scholarship has been of great benefit to their careers.
