A new partnership with UK hospitality’s benevolent charity, Hospitality Action, offers comprehensive wellbeing assistance to all Roux Scholars, to help them practical, emotional and counselling support with physical and mental health issues, financial and legal problems, dependency, bereavement, familial and relationship issues, elderly care and all the other life challenges.

Craig Johnston has won The Roux Scholarship 2025. The head chef from Angler Restaurant beat five other finalists in a testing competition held at the Alain Roux Culinary School at The Waterside Inn on Monday 14h April 2025.
